• Brookfield Renewable U.S. – Gatineau, QC, Analyst, Commercial Development August 2023 – May 2024

Built complex Excel financial models to assess the feasibility and profitability of various renewable commercial initiatives in Canada for both long term (5+ years) and short-term deals (< 1 year). Effectively provided recommendations from complex analysis to key executives, including the Chief Commercial Officer, Director, Origination and Director, Trading & Commercial Development, in both French and English. Identified, monitored, and pitched various opportunities for growth across Canada – including new regulatory changes, M&A opportunities, Energy Import/Export deals, and decarbonizing trends. Interacted with various internal and external stakeholders to support development opportunities, including but not limited to External Consultants, Executives, on-site Asset Operators and External Regulatory representatives. Key commercial projects that were advanced: Commercialization of Environmental Attributes (~1M sales), Battery Projects in Ontario (~430MW projects awarded in May 2024), Asset Refurbishments (+17MW of identified incremental output in BC portfolio, +7MW in incremental output in Ontario Portfolio),
