Brian Wendler

Professional designations and work experience for Brian A. Wendler, EECA, include: Appraisal and Desktop machinery & equipment appraisals for a variety of purposes, and industries, including (but not limited to): printing, refrigeration, industrial machine manufacturing, dry cleaning, fitness, baking, medical, restaurant, and the banking industry.  In 2009, NBVS was awarded the largest contract ever given to a machinery and equipment Appraiser in the NEBB organization.  (The contract was awarded by the FDIC and was comprised of the furniture, fixtures, machinery and equipment for 55 banks.)  Since then, NBVS has completed many other assignments for various banking institutions.   Additionally, Brian holds the designations Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV), Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) in Business Valuation and Intangible Assets (BV-IA), Certified Mergers & Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA),  Master Certified Business Counselor (MCBC), and was recently awarded IBA’s Accredited in Business Appraisal Review (ABAR). (Less than 100 individuals hold this designation nationally.) He has been involved in over 30,000 business valuations, trained over 7,500 business brokers and professionals, and assisted in over 20,000 transactions.  His experience extends across a wide variety of industries and company sizes including manufacturing, distribution, retail, medical, finance, engineering, hi-tech and low-tech firms. 

Brian A. Wendler, EECA, has been awarded the EECA designation (Expert Equipment Certified Appraiser) by the Institute of Equipment Valuation.  EECAs are located throughout the United States and several foreign countries, and are used by banks, other lending institutions, CPAs, attorneys, business buyers/sellers and others to provide needed financial information for a variety of reasons.

Brian's experience extends across a wide variety of industries and company size including manufacturing, distribution, retail, medical, finance, insurance agencies, engineering, hi-tech and low-tech firms.  He was the President (2006-2007) of the Dallas Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals and remains in charge of its Exit Planning section group. He is the principal and founder of National Business Valuation Services, Inc. (NBVS), and was the 2008-2009 President of the Institute of Certified Business Counselors (ICBC), the oldest business brokerage organization in the U.S.  He was also formerly on the advisory board of Murphy Business & Financial Corporation, the largest business brokerage franchisor in the country, servicing 27 states and Canada with 238 agents. He previously served as President of the Estate Planning Council of North Texas.  Additionally, Brian served on the Education Committee of the International Society of Business Appraisers (ISBA) and is serving his 2^nd term as the President of the Texas Association of Business Brokers (TABB).
